The replacement Sloan H-553 (also called H553 and 5308696) Stop Tail O-ring fits into the groove on your flushometer tailpiece. The tailpiece with the o-ring then slides into the control stop, where the o-ring creates a watertight seal. It is recommended that you replace this o-ring each time you loosen the connection to ensure a leak-proof seal.

Compatible with Sloan Royal and Regal flush vales. Also compatible with valves from American Standard and Zurn that take o-ring part numbers P6000-C31 or A912809-0070A).

The H-553 o-ring measures approximately 1-3/8” outside diameter.
